Quarantine day 32345…completed Ellia’s Washroom! About a week into the news of the pandemic, I decided it was time to finish some projects that I hadn’t gotten around to. When we moved into the house, it was still missing a few things, lights/wall scones, mirrors, and little things like toilet paper holders. I wanted to live in the house for a bit and get a feel for it before making all the decor decisions, I am so indecisive!
The showstopper in Ellia’s washroom is definitely the tile floor. The second I walked into the tile show room back when the house was being built, I knew I had to use it somewhere, I kinda wish it was in all the rooms since it’s so gorgeous! The cabinet was custom made by the carpenter that did all of the cabinets in the house, he’s very talented and it turned out better than I could have imagined! I opted for brass/gold fixtures in this washroom to make it different, the rest of the house they are matte black. The delta shower head with the sprayer is so useful, my sister has one in her home and Ellia loves it 🙂 Ellia’s ensuite is pretty tiny and has no window since it’s in the interior of the house, so I wanted to keep everything bright and light. I included some special things that reflect stuff Elle loves, like the palm tree jewellery holder, shells, rainbows and the tiny fish we bought her in Greece from the sweetest pottery shop. I painted the peach print and used some old beach prints that I had. The shelf was a DIY project with stuff I had in the house, I will be sharing a blog post on that soon!
